This is a really good film written by Brendan O'Carroll and starring Angelia Houston and Ray Winstone and also Tom Jones. It tells of a young woman who is widowed and have to bring up her kids in Dublin. Some good strong words in it but also some real touching moments. Well worth buying it.

This is the original screenplay for Mrs Browns Boys. O'Carrol has a bit part as a drunk, along with other members of the current show (seeif you can spot them) but this is a completely different story and film. Set in the 60's, it is a light humoured heart wrenching stoy of growing up in Dublin, with a cameo from Tom Jones, who surprisingly looks not too disimilar from his 60's self.
