Brilliant Little Gadget!,

This is a brilliant little gadget and when i first received it i was amazed and a little shocked at how small it was! It works very well, this is not to say that i haven't had any scanning problems, line's caused by dust mean that you have to re-scan the photo but if you clean it regularly (say every 100 photos) with the wand and cleaning pad supplied you shouldn't have too many probs, but if the photo is already badly scratched try putting it in the scanning sleeve as this does help. I have now scanned approximately 4,000 photos and I would say that out of every 100 I had to re-scan about 5-10 photos because of dirt and dust particals. I would definately recommend this product.

Easy to use but not that great scans,

I purchased this after trying out two "Ion Docuscans" which both went wrong after less than 50 scans of 6 x 4 photos.Initially I was very impressed - very easy to set up, nice and fast and very effective for scanning photos. However, after 30 scans, I transferred the files to the PC and was pretty disappointed with the results - not as clear as the Docuscan by far. I think I am expecting too much from these small, easy to use, standalone photo scanners and will probably buy a half decent flatbed scanner instead and resign myself to scanning from the PC.

Bought this to scan in my old school photos to load up to facebook - what can I say brilliant ! Have now lent it to my parents to scan in the pictures in an old bag in the loft. Simply insert an sd card and off you go :-) best £30 I have spent in along time
