Product Description

Book Description

An insanely funny book from the author of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.

Product Description

Ben's a born daydreamer. He's much rather be in the Sahara, or on a Viking ship than sitting in a boring maths lesson. Then Agent Z appears on the scene - and THAT means secret missions, cunning plans and careful strategies. And soon Ben and his friends, Barney and Jenks, realize that life on planet earth is RATHER exciting after all!

the title and cover look dead silly, but the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" realy springs into mind! this is the start of 4 brill books by Mark Haddon. Even adults shall laugh out loud at the reading of this book.
The characters are hilarious, especialy jenks who is described in the book to be as sussed as a face flannel.
The story is about 3 zany kids Who are having a particularly boring summer term, so to spice things up a little, they carry out numerous practical jokes under the code name of AGENT Z. they meet up at the comand centre {the derelict park keeper cottage near the park} and discuss their next practical jokes for the next day.
Very funny a great read for boys (say ages 7 to 12).However, even adults should enjoy Agent Z Books.

I didn't really enjoy this book because the beggining wasn't very exciting and the middle and ending hadn't improved.
I didn't really 'get it' the language and the style of writing was not my type. Also I couldn't follow the story properly.
I am 8 (almost 9)and I like books like; Emil and the Detectives and The Series of Unfortunate Events.
