I have done lots of research on Agenda 21 myself and have realised what the ramifications are. Glenn Beck and his co-author take the principles of Agenda 21 and project them into a totalitarian Socialist Utopia, redolent of N. Korea, with 1984 overtones, and with the known evidence of the failure of collectivism in former Soviet Russia. At the end of the book Beck gives a glossary of Agenda 21 and links to its provisions. Everyone needs to wake up to this trojan horse for World Government by the UN.
On the face of it, Agenda 21 is innocuous and praiseworthy, who wouldn't want to protect and do minimum harm to the environment in which we live. However, the insidious nature of the beast means that vast areas of land are taken into state control, which means that those living off that land are subject to state control also. An example in real life is the creation of offshore marine reserves, requiring offshore fisherman whose families have fished those waters for generations, to now be licensed, told what they can catch or when and even excluded altogether. The explanation given, is that a diversity of species have been found that need protection. The fact that those species exist in a healthy state after generations of fishing activity, shows that the fishing communities have fished responsibly and have no wish to kill off their livelihood and that of future generations. They do not need to be taught sustainability, they practice it.
