Most Helpful Customer Reviews

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Nelson Cravo on 21 Sep 2002
Format: Audio CD
Krisiun is the kind of band you either love or hate. Their kind of death metal shows no mercy and rarely causes indifference. This album is no exception, they blast beat their way through 10 tracks that include two instrumentals "Serpent's Spectars" (an acoustic guitar foray into flamengo?) and "Diableros". Tracks like "Dawn of Flagellation" and "Evil Gods Havoc" are some of the best songs they've written so far.
The sound production is crystal clear, everything sounds great and the vocals are brutal as usual. The only downside to this album, or any Krisiun album for that matter, is the unrelentless and arguably unimaginative drumming, blast beats from the minute you pop in the album to the minute it stops(the only respite being the acoustic interlude), but then it's also one of their trademarks.
Well, if you're a Krisiun fan or are fans of bands like Angelcorpse or Morbid Angel then definitely buy this album you won't be disappointed.
