1.0 out of 5 stars Potentially fun but infected with Bugs 30 Aug. 2009
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
The game is actually quite fun if it wasnt filled with faults. I have bought and played these games since the series started with SeaDogs I. Not much have been made new from the previous game Caribbean Tales. The ships are about the exact same and the graphics as well. But what made the previous game borring was that the storyline was too thin - this has been fixed in this game and the ability to choose from different caracters playing different storylines and many different missions to accept on the way is working quite well.
However the game is really filled with faults. Most of them serious ones making the game crash all the time. I havent been able to play the game for more than 30 to 40 minutes as the longest before it crashed and i had to restart - so saving games alle the time is essential - but the bugs in this game have been so annoying that I have been spending half of the time restarting the game which has resulted in me giving up playing it and I wont play it again untill there will be some patch making it playable.

Before or if there is coming a patch making this game stable, then my word for the wise is: you shouldnt buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Pirate Game! 27 Dec. 2010
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships is a very great pirate game ever! The Graphic, Sounds, Gameplay, story, RPG and characters of this videogame is very good for this pirate genre. Many people say they are a lot of bugs in this game but for my opinion does not cause problems for the great gameplay.
A very good game from the creator of the masterpiece Sea Dogs! I recommend it for the fans of the genre!
