Big, stupid fun.
Put it this way: If you are a classic literature enthusiast who loves the book Moby Dick, this is not for you.
If you want to see an action-fantasy starring Danny Glover (big performance!) and Vinnie Jones, about a crew of dragon hunters with CG special effects, then this is the film for you.
Is it a bit silly? Yes it is, but no more than your average Hollywood blockbuster - this film's script is no better or worse than Spiderman 3, which I really enjoyed despite it being extremely stupid and shamelessly mainstream.
The real question is, is it entertaining?
Hell yes.
Leave your brain at the door and enjoy.........

I would not have purchased this Dvd if I knew that one would have to pay extra to get a pin number to unlock the DVD extras.

I saw this in the cinema and i admit its pretty mad having Danny Glover, Vinnie Jones and dragons in one movie but its a total cheeky pleasure, dragons were pretty cool although a lot of the film is the journey they go on together. Danny Glover is mad, completely massive performance but you totally go with it and if you like a bit of cheeky heroic fantasy then its smack on. i mean it ain't going to get oscars but its just a great slice of testorerone action and big fiery lizards

New fashion to exclude subtitling on blu-ray. Stupid decision!
Giving this blu-ray edition 1 star. Just because there are no subtitles. On DVDs are subtitles nowadays standard.

Very boring!!!
I bought this as a fan of dragons and when I saw the actors I thought it might just be as good as Eragon!! Big mistake!! It is horrendous!! Boring, slow & not worth the money!!

ABSOLUTELY DIRE!!!
I can see why this film is so cheap - do not bother buying it - it is dire - so slow and turgid - we switched it off half way through & have put it in the bin!

Age of dragon on too much!
Unfortunatley not as good as I had hoped, it could have been so much better with a little more effort.

waste of your money

Boring.
Boring and slow with way too much dialogue. Not having subtitles also hurt this movie as it was really hard to hear what the actors said.
