A hardback collection of five Agatha Christie greats! 8 Aug 2009
By Sherri L. Miller - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Please be aware that this product is the hardcover book compilation of five of Agatha Christie's great mysteries, not the six audio cassete collection of three different titles mentioned in Amazon's product description in their editorial review. That being said, the book includes some favorites and some lesser known titles, with the five selections being "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd", "The Secret Adversary", "The Boomerang Clue" (aka "Why Didn't They Ask Evans"), "The Moving Finger", and "Death Comes as the End", with cases featuring Hercule Poirot, Tommy and Tuppence, Bobby and Frankie, Miss Marple, and a detective-less ancient Egyptian mystery novel. As an out of print (published in 1988 by Randon House) but complete, unabridged selection from the "20th Century Mystery & Espionage Library", it is a worthwhile read for any Christie or mystery fan, and can be had rather cheaply from a variety of Amazon sellers, currently for $0.01 or more for a used edition, or $4.95 for a new one. If you enjoy reading Agatha Christie and do not have these selections, you can't go wrong with this book.
