i had read a previous book of this author's and wasnt very impressed, but when i brought this book i was suprised .
once i started reading it was hard to put down .
the story was clear and easy to follow and the characters very 'real' and not over the top.
i would recommend reading this book .

A must buy! 14 Mar 2004
Format:Hardcover
I bought this book for my mum for mothers day and was intruiged by the book, so I read it (sorry your presents second hand mum!). Although the new jackets do define the book more than yor usual rags n shawls saga cover, I was expecteing the usual predictable stuff.

And I must say that I am pleasantly surprised! Without giving anything away (as I know Lynda hates it when people do that on amazon), the story branched completely away from what I thought would happen, and the book is so well written that it keeps you intruiged into reading more.

I will definately be reading more Lynda Page in the future and highly recommend you to buy it!
