A great idea to protect Aga lids from scratches and provide a little additional insulation. Unfortunately the quality is just not up to scratch. Despite washing on a cool setting they shrunk so badly that they are now oval not round, and the black colour bled into the cream so it's a dirty grey. The tape straps also shrunk so they no longer fit on the handle, and on one has frayed and become detatched. All this after just one cool wash! I don't expect a product like this to be single-use. Hardly a high tech product so I'm now going to make my own using pre-shrunk fabric and putting an additional layer of insulation between the covers.

Aga pads used to have loops on them so when you lifted the lids, they dont slide off. Somebody, who has never used an aga, has taken these off, so they dont work properly - mad! You can not buy them with them on so you have to buy these and so loops on.

The photo is deceptive - you only get one pad not two - I realise I am not alone in thinking I was going to get two. I have not used yet so cannot vouch for quality

These pads used to come in pairs with a loop so that you could put the aga lid handle through the loop and have them attached to the lids. Read more

Dissapointed
This purchase was to renew our old chefs pads, which we purchased with the "Aga"

aga mat
I thought i should have received two of these mats but only one arrived. Apart from that the mat /cover is fab.
