Book Description

A fascinating insight into the lives and afterlives of celebrities we have loved and lost

Product Description

In AFTERLIVES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS, renowned psychic Sylvia Browne explains exactly what happens to our spirits when our bodies stop living. She describes what the Other Side is like, and how the celebrities that we have lost are coping in the world beyond. She begins with a brief biography of each celebrity, which helps lend important context to what is happening to them now in the afterlife. She then shares whatever information the celebrities care to discuss with her. Her insights include their regrets, their private thoughts, their role in the afterlife, details of who they visit on earth, and their plans for reincarnation if they have any. It is also fascinating to discover which celebrities strike up friendships and spend time together on the Other Side!

Celebrities featured include: Elvis Presley, (Princess) Diana Spencer, Patrick Swayze, Anna Nicole Smith, Brittany Murphy, Heath Ledger, Marilyn Monroe, Paul Newman, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, George Harrison, Michael Jackson and John Lennon.

First let me say I DID NOT BUY THIS BOOK. I would never buy such trash, such nonsense. But a friend gave it to me as a gift. I think it was meant as a gag gift as my friend is not stupid. This book was written for stupid people, it is an insult to intelligence. The fact that this book got published and has made money for the horrible, disgusting Sylvia Browne is evidence that there is no God - or at the very least that humanity gets stupider and stupider. I can't believe how bad it is, and how horrible Sylvia Browne is. I take back my God comment. I DO believe in a God. And an afterlife. But I'm angry that such a horrible book is making such a horrible woman a millionaire while the rest of us good people have to work for a living. Syliva you should be ashamed!

I think this has to be the most risible piece of nonsense I have ever come across. Wild flower meadows, the deceased studying and writing on parchment scrolls in the hall of wisdom, dead celebrities hanging out with one another just like in the big brother house. Oh and everyone reverts to being 30 years old apart from the guvnors who are all old men in white flowing robes and long white beards. The cynicism of this depiction of the "afterlives" of the defunct celebs is quite breathtaking, it doesn't even attempt to be plausible. It did make me laugh out loud though which not many other books have managed to achieve.

[ASIN:0062017985 Afterlives of the Rich and Famous LP]]

I received this book on Tuesday and now I am more that half way through it. This is a really fascinating book.
I have read a great deal of Syvia Browne`s writings, and in fact many other in the same genre. So I am far from new to this way of thinking. I see no reason why we should not take this at face value - who is to say that she is not right, in fact I think she more that likely is. The first part of the book is important for those who are new to this field of thought, for we others it is good with a brush up. The subject matter is what attracted me, and probably others - it is indeed interesting to hear channeled messages vis Francine, her guide. It also helps to put more perspective on my own thoughts and opinions. For those who were wondouring, yes Elvis is reincarnated, in Italy in 2004 - and singing will be important to him. But this is not why I bought the book. It helps me to get my own lifeplan into even more perspective, and all my reincarnations, of which there are quite a few. I am not sure I agree with "no-one has more that 60 reincarnations", but that is not really important in the big plan.
I would love to meet this astounding lady, but I do not think that will happen. However I heartily recomend this book, and suggest reading more of her earlier works and thoughts too. It needs to be read with an open mind if the reader is new to this life philosophy. The larger print was also a plus, since I am in the older age category and small print is tiring.
