Format:VHS Tape
A very funny, dark comedy/thriller - Miranda Richardson is hilarious as Penny (think, Queenie from "Blackadder" in quaintest Oxfordshire, roses round the door and bodies buried under the begonias ...) and Bob Peck is ... well, Bob Peck. This dates from his "Edge of Darkness" days, but James couldn't be more different - nerdy, sweet, hopeful. And increasingly horrified as he realizes what he has gotten himself into. At the end, you don't know whether to laugh or cry ... Repays watching again and again. (So why, BBC, isn't it available on DVD? hmmm?)

I remember watching this on TV in Canada many years ago and loving it. Bob Peck was a wonderful actor and is much missed. Isn't it about time that we petitioned the powers that be at the Beeb to have this converted to DVD. Those I can view with a multi-region DVD player, but VHS tapes are beyond me. I would love to add this to my collection.
