4.0 out of 5 stars providing enough punk rock energy to last a life time, 17 Jul 2003
Being a punk rock fan for a long time, I only thought it right to check out 98 Mute's "After the fall" album.. and not to be dissapointed!

The first track launches itself into a frenzy of fast drums and powerfull guitar riffs, to be followd by solo's and energetic bass lines.
The rest of the album doesn't dissapoint either and 13 songs in just over 30 minutes isnt bad, just what punk rock should be!

Stand out tracks, in my opinion, are "M.A.D", "Ultimate high" and "Not enough", but all the songs on the album are pretty good.

The reason I gave this album 4 stars instead of 5, is because by the last song you do start to feel that you have heard the song somewhere on the album earlier, but this is not a major complaint.

If you like this album then I would recomend trying bands like NOFX, AFI or evan The Distillers - who take things to more hardcore level.

All in all, this is a fantastic album, and 98 Mute deffinatly deliver good music with a deffinate punk rock attitude!
