I recommend that you read the previous 2 books in this series or you will not be able to follow what is happening, but saying that this book was a great read and once I started reading it I found it very difficult to put down as you wanted to know what was goig to happen next and did they manage to save the USA. When I read the first in the series I have nver read anything from this author but I was very pleased with the outcome as she is a very unique writer. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a fantastic read. I hope that she rites a fourth book in this series so that we can find out if all that was predicted does actually happen.

Easy read, fab escapism. I read the trilogy over a few days and it was addictive, nicely written and flows well through the story.

Just finished the series. I guess I felt a little let down in the end, but the middle of the series was awesome! ( and a lot of other parts too!) My 16 year old daughter tried to read it but got really bored halfway through the first book, maybe writing for young adults needs to grab the reader and drag them in earlier in the book. Especially if you're setting the scene for a series! All in all I did not feel like it was a waste of time, I just would have liked more 😁👍

Entertaining book. Ending is a little abrupt. Great book for a mindless easy read. Good series for tween age readers
