Product Description

After two London seasons—and a score of resoundingly dull society suitors—Juliet Laverick finds herself longing for one man: Morgan Pryce, the dashing scoundrel who kidnapped her two years ago. But her determination to bring the rogue to justice hasn't waned—until Morgan's twin brother, Sebastian, arrives with some shocking news: Juliet's mysterious paramour has disappeared.

Sebastian, Lord Templemore, dares not tell Juliet the truth: he is the man she seeks—it is his kiss she yearns for. Confessing to the abduction would bring devastating scandal upon them both. But how can he persuade her to forsake her dedicated pursuit of her dream lover, when all he dreams of is holding her in his arms again?

This book is brilliant. Juliet discovers that her abductor was infact Sebastion and not Morgan (in Notorious Love)for Sebastion and Morgan are brothers read Morgans's story in (Dance of Seduction) Unfortunatley her sisters and brother-in-law think she is just confused. In her quest to prove herself right, this leads to some very funny sparring moments. I loved the bit when they were playing chess and Juliet turned the tables on Sebastion. Buy it and you won't be disappointed

After The Abduction continues the story of Juliet, the youngest of the 3 Laverick sisters, two years after her abduction and abandonment by her handsome captor Morgan in her last book. In this enjoyable Regency, Juliet discovers that it was in fact Lord Sabastian Templemore who stole her heart, masquerading as his twin brother Morgan and she sets out to make him confess to her abduction. Yet again Sabrina Jeffries has turned out another 'can't put down' story, but though the characters are well written and lovable, the plot is a bit non-existent at times. Fans of this author won't be disappointed!

I won't repeat what other people have written, I too always enjoy Sabrina Jefferie's books, for pace, and the fact that the plots feel woven into the romantic story as opposed to stuck on or contrived to give a 'reason' for the novel to exist! This one was no different.
May I ask the author one question, though? I write myself and often get inspiration from real history. Was this inspired looesely on John Carden of Barnane, Baron of Templemore? :)
Just wondering!
