I was looking for interior design with lovely clear photography without them being too cliche and that's what I got. The photos are beautiful and inspiring. Its a great little book to have on the coffee table and I find people picking them up all the time.

Cool book. If you are looking for photos that might inspire you to look at Africa beyond Safaris and misery, this would be it. The photos are great; they're stylish and suggest a point of view not often seen, plus they are intimate views of homes that (seemingly) belong to ordinary people... its rare that you can get coffee table-book quality photos in such a small and economical book. It is a cool presentation to show how different cultures approach decorating and flair.
