AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA Focusses On The Health, Wealth And Strength Of The Ancient African Civilisations (Including Egypt). From A Health Perspective, This Book Is An Overview Of How Foreign Invasion Stripped Naked And Held Down/Held Back Ancient Africa Via Oppression, While She Was Forcibly And Repeatedly 'Gang Raped' Several Times (So To Speak) And Strip Searched - Throughout The Course Of History. Even To This Day Africa Is Still Being Raped - Raped Of Its Dignity. Africa Has Been Stripped Of All Her Produce, Raw Materials, Precious Stones And Gems, Artefacts And Culture.
Unable To Defend Herself And Protect 'Her Children', 'Mama Africa' Can Only Recount The History Of Her Glory Days. This Is Where An Uprising Of Strength For Present-Day Africans Will/Would/Should Come From - Your Inner Beauty And Joy.
Today 'The Motherland' Can Restore And Nourish The Mind, Body, Spirit, Flesh, Profile And Standards Of Africans Around The World, To A State Of Excellent Good Health, By Entertaining Us With The Results Of - And Providing Us With - The Background To The Health And Stealth Records Of Civilisations That Were/Are A Part Of 'The Gang'.

AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA is divided into 21 Sections.
Some of the headings of the sections are repeated, however the information is not repetitive.
1. A word from the author LLAILA O. AFRIKA, Intro, Overview, Foreward etc, Table Of Contents - which is very detailed and supports the Index at the back of the book.
2. Dis-Ease, Treatment And Health;
3. Remedies;
4. Dis-Ease, Diagnosis, Examination;
5. Easy Remedies;
6. Vitamin Guide;
7. Flushes
8. Mineral Guide;
9. Herb Classification;
10. Food;
11. Vitamins And Minerals;
12. Doctrine Of Signature;
13. Herbs;
14. Sample Menu And Recipes;
15. Chart Guide;
16. Charts;
17. Holistic Perspectives;
18. Herbs, Africa And History;
19. Enlarged Charts And pictures;
20. Selected Readings;
21. Index.

Within The above 21 Sections, traces of Politics, Philosophy and The Arts, Science, Economics, Religion, Sexual Perversions, Eponyms, Laws, and Foreign Words can be found.

AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA raises its concerns on the effects of some of the products we use - believing them to be harmless because we trust the manufacturers - like the damage Talcum Powder causes when ingested through the pores of your skin as part of a skin care regime, or even the minute traces found on the inner lining of Condoms, and "Used As A Lubricant".

AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA defends and suggests that Astrology (not in the traditional sense of zodiac signs), Numerology (not the Pythagoras way), Reflexology, Pathology, Psychology are a few of the ways forward for African/Black Wholistic Health and the Healing Of A Nation.

AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA attacks much of what we view as 'normal' healthy/unhealthy relationships and sexual activities as being "Caucasion Rituals And Ceremonies" that we have become accustomed to.

AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA is detailed, descriptive and informative.

'My' Concerns And Criticisms Of AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA Are:
1. There is No List of Contacts.
There is no offer or supply of a support network/support services - ie: there is no world-wide list of useful addresses/contacts or names of organisations, associations, group affilliations etc, to further one's studies/research, or to get general information, help, advice, moral support and/or membership.
2. The Index is Not Extensive.
The Index is always the place to go for quick referencing and the opportunity to tailor your studies to suit your personal needs rather than read from cover-to-cover. I found that there are words/subjects 'Not' listed in the main/general Index at the back of the book, which were found in the associated category Sections at the front of the book. That means there's a constant jostling of the book's pages back and forth to get the desired information.
I also found some words/subjcts 'Not' listed, anywhere were found in text.
Eg 1: Talcum Powder - Not Listed in Index but found as a piece of text on page 350.
Eg 2: Microwave - Not Listed in Index, but listed as a Section Sub-heading - Section 9; Food.
Eg 3: Bi-Polar - Not Listed in Index, Not Listed in Section Headings/Sub-headings but found as piece of text on page 430.
A decent Index should list every word/subject/title etc with its relevant page numbers.
3. Licences - The Marriage Licence/The Marriage Ceremony/The Institution Of Marriage in a relationship setting is not discussed.
4. The are No Inclusive Reports.
Reports have a way of keeping us informed with/of up-to-date data.
It would have been great to have a full investigative Report or analysis of all the major league cosmetic products, services, ingredients, and especially the Black 'Hair Care' Industry.
What is the truth about the Black 'Hair Care' products and services?
What is the truth about the 'Big Businesses' who make claims in 'caring' for Black Hair, Skin, and Nails? Can they be trusted?
5. There are No Warning Signs.
It does 'Warn' that changes to one's chemical balance/imbalance and Wholistic Health could prove more damaging in the long term, or even fatal - if not gradual - and under the stictest conditions.
6. Labels and Labelling.
Wrong Labels make for Unhealthy Eating and Unhealthy Digestion.
There's No Unity in being Wrongly Labelled.
I rather expected AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA to address the issue of Labels and Labelling, unfortunately it does not.
In terms of colour A Black Man Is A Black Man.
In terms of culture A Black Man is his place of birth, his parent's place of birth or country of origin etc? ie: 'Afican-American', Black Mixed-Race, Black West Indian, Black Carribbean, Black African, Black British Born, Black Other etc etc.

Whilst I agree that the above concerns and criticisms may slightly alter the state, size and price of AFRICAN HOLISTIC HEALTH by LLAILA O. AFRIKA, the current edition, is still a 5 Star Value - that I would not and could not be without because there is a wealth of information inside - some of which you won't find anywhere else.

Thank You!

I purchased this book because it was recommended to me by someone I knew, so I already knew what to expect. This book is very insightful and covers everything you need to know in order to live a better more fulfilling life; from what foods promote good health to the meaning of your skin shade and it's purpose. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand who they are and wants to learn about the mysteries of this universe that cannot be explained by science. This book makes it all make sense..

This book is a fantastic reference book and is very detailed. I would recommend this book to someone who is a beginner in understanding the fundamentals of nutrition as well as some one who is rather experienced in this area. However as of all nutrition books one should still be sceptical of some of the information provided in this book i.e. take time to look at some of the references provided in the bibliography. But in all honesty this book is fantastic. Itis jammed packed with traditional perspectives of eating and medicine.
