Product Description

Book Description

An introductory guide to hypnotherapy, especially for those who are apprehensive about hypnosis. This book examines the origins of popular misconceptions about hypnosis, which have arisen from such forms of entertainment as stage hypnotism, films, and childrens' books. It explodes the myths of hypnosis and reveals hypnotherapy to be a safe, gentle, quick, and easy way to achieve beneficial changes.

About the Author

Deborah Marshall-Warren is a hypnotherapist who has run her own private practice, Whole-Being Interactive Hypnotherapy, for eight years - conducting hundreds of interactive one-to-one sessions over that period. She holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and is an Emeritus Fellow of The Hypnotherapy Society (FHS Emeritus), and a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Promotion of Health. Deborah is a long-standing advisor to the editorial staff and features department at Here's Health, magazine, a leading complementary health magazine.
Her professional experience has been wide-ranging: she has treated a very great variety of requests for help and healing. As well as publishing articles and contributing to them, she is regularly asked to provide information and guidance to journalists seeking to find out more about hypnotherapy and its effectiveness in specified areas. She has spoken about her work on television and frequently participates in radio broadcasts as a subject expert. Broadcasts have included both local and national radio. Deborah is the author of Mind Detox book and audiotape published by Thorsons in 1999
