I ordered the Affresh for dishwashers and disposals at the same time I ordered the Affresh for my HE washer. While the dishwasher was running, I noticed a distinct fragrance in the kitchen but didn't think anything of it. The next day, I ran the dishwasher with a full load, and thought everything was hunkie dorie. But nope! My husband drinks coffee from an old plastic insulated mug (he got from a hospital years ago), and when he drank his morning joe, it tasted like Affresh. He washed it by hand, then soaked the mug for a day, and I even put vinegar in the mug, but it did not take the smell or taste of Affresh out. He was one disappointed man, as he had to toss the mug in the trash. He also complained that everything tasted like Affresh for days. I didn't notice the taste, but I sure did notice the smell. Consequently, I will NEVER buy this product again! There are too many other products on the market that don't cause any problems. Go with one of them!

I've tried several different products for cleaning the disposal. This is my first product for cleaning the dishwasher. This product worked well for both. My only complaint would be that after using the product, this nice new smell was evident inside the drinking cups after subsequent washings; however, the yucky smell is not. My top preference would be to have the cups free of any odor.

I've tried other dishwasher cleaners and nothing compares to this. You do have to use 2 tablets at a time so this package contains 3 month supply of cleaner and at this price, you can't beat that. This does have a strong citrus smell in the package, but leaves a pleasant hint after use. Will definitely be purchasing again in 3 months.
