This is a wonderful anthology containing essays from the leading names in Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art, and is an extremely useful resource for anyone interested in these topics. The papers are grouped by subject matter, providing a convenient way of finding what you're looking for. The only criticisms I have of this book are to do with the way it has been produced. Firstly, all the text is arranged in columns, with two columns to a page. Personally, I find this quite difficult to read, so this was a bit of a bug bear for me. Secondly, because the book is very large, it is physically quite difficult to read - you have to constantly hold it open, so it's quite tricky to make notes whilst reading. Having said this, the quality and range of information contained in the book certainly outweighs these issues, so if you're looking for a comprehensive collection of papers on Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, you will be more than satisfied with this volume.
