I bought this off the Nespresso site as it was much cheaper than anywhere else. The product has not disappointed me, even though I was surprised to see how shallow it is compared to its overall size.
I started the day heating up milk for my little girl using the frothing attachment. She was excited and wanted to finish up all of her drink. I literally could not tear her away from the breakfast table! Whilst she was enjoying her warm milk, I gave the machine a quick rinse with water and made my own foam for my cappucino. It was lush! So thick, so creamy! There are markings inside that show you the levels for frothy or foamy milk. BE CAREFUL not to mistake the cup designs with the lines because when I did that on my first attempt, the milk overflowed. The lines are under the cups... LOL Only use silicone spoons to scoop out the foam and only use a soft cloth to wash the Aeroccino 3.
I love the design of the Aeroccino - it is classically beautiful and will withstand the test of time. It is easy to clean using a soft sponge and some detergent - it simply wipes off. You do need to rinse it between uses to avoid problems in the long run and, once you are done frothing, you will need to remove the rubber seal from the lid to clean it well and leave it to air dry. The frother and foamer attachments are magnetic and will easily clip inside the Aeroccino or the lid, so no risk of losing them.
From reading the literature, I understand that this machine has 3 uses:
- warms up milk (I assume that is without using any of the attachments so the milk does not froth or foam, just heats up)
It is incredibly silent and has finished its job by the time it takes you to get the mugs and sugar out.
Try it for yourselves, I am sure you will love it as much as we do!
Here is a video review I made of the product along with a review of the Circolo: [...]
