We got one of these beds as needed an extra bed for youngest, (grandparents were coming over to stay and rather than have our youngest uncomfortable, or us with him sharing the bed) got one of these and no regrets.
I always remember those airbeds that were around a long time ago that no way would the air seem to go out of them, and you would be left sitting on it, or lying on it to try to get it to delfate quickly. That was just after trying to get the thing inflated in the first place, and they were not all that comfortable anyway. This Aero bed doesn't have that problem as it deflates just as quickly as it inflates. Plus no punctures, I say this as our bedroom floor is just real wooden floorboards, very uneven and quite rough in places, but no tears or punctures.
The ease in which it inflates, so easy for myself to do, just plug in and it feels nice and inflated in a very short time. Not a saggy or lumpy feel to it at all, just a nice comfortable n excellent bed to have in the house for overnight guests. It also comes with a cover to protect the bed itself (this can easily be machine washed as and when needed). A good standby for any grandparent to have in the house for when parents leave their youngesters there overnight.
Our youngest thought it so comfortable that we had a bit of an issue trying to get him back into his own 'proper bed'.
Rather than buy a sleeping bag, which are not all that cheap you would be better off buying one of these aero beds, as it will come in time after time. Ours has already had lots of use and still inflates as it should. Plus it is so small to store, it comes complete with it own carry/storage bag, so small it can sit at the bottom of the wardrobe waiting until the next time it is needed.
