This is a DVD box set of the original 1993 sonic the hedgehog animated series produced by DIC. The box contains 8 disks with all 65 episodes on them.
Each episode is as memorable as the last, the voice acting is good, the animation is excelent for the time and the art seems very inspired by the looney tunes. I would say that if you like the looney tunes then there is a very good chance that you wil like this. The only negative I can say about this is that there are no DVD extras; I would have loved to have seen deleted scenes, a making of or interviews with the creators. Buy this if you are in any way a fan of sonic the hedgehog or 90's cartons.

I used to watch this show as a kid, back in the days of Mega Drive Sonic games (y'know, the good ones), Sonic the Comic and Sega World.
Naturally, I had to buy this when I saw it, as have several of my friends since, and I love every moment of it. With the amount of episodes on it, it's an absolute bargain price wise! However, I would only recommend this boxset to two types of people - Sonic fans/ collectors - Those who watched the show as a kid Newcomers probably wouldn't be able to appreciate this boxset, but for most of us, it is a must have piece of Sonic memorabillia

This series is packed full of silly humour which especially suits the evil Dr. Robotnik and his robots (mainly Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts) very well.
The box is nicely compact with slimline dvd cases, which I like, because the box doesn't require a lot of space on your bookshelf. Price is also fantastic for so many episodes!
