What a wonderful book! Judy speaks from the heart and this is a very good insight into her life and entertainment career. I had the opportunity to email her and she responded and told me she is currently working on another novel. I told her how much I enjoyed watching her on "Keeping Up Appearances" and she gives some great behind the scenes scoop in this book. Judy is a jewel and you will love reading about her and her many adventures.

Please Nominate Her for the Queen's Honours List!, 12 Jun 2011

Judy Cornwell is a British treasure of sorts. She has a tremendous sense of humor along with a great comedic talent with perfect timing. She is also one of Britain's best loved actresses especially with her role as Daisy in the classic comedy, "Keeping Up Appearances," which I believe is one of the finest British comedies ever.
This autobiography doesn't trash anybody. Judy is happily married to John Parry for over 40 years and the mother of son, Edward Parry. She lives in Brighton, England and often goes to Brisbane, Australia where she lived for five years as a child. This book is a captivating, humorous, and fun memoir. She doesn't well on the negatives as much as some others might. Still, Judy Cornwell is a magistrate in Brighton, her adopted hometown, and an author in her own right.
If you love her as Daisy, you will love her autobiography. It's a fun-filled name dropping book that doesn't dwell on negatives but on the positives of life. She should be nominated for a British honour for her services to her community and to drama. I hope one day she is finally in the Queen's Honours List.
