If you were a little girl in the 1970's, then like me you will be delighted to find that this little piece of TV history is now available to buy. It has brought back the comforting nostalgia of the sunday afternoon drama series, which I am delighted to say my young son has become equally hooked on. From the opening music credits, the remarkably compact episodes always told an entertaining story, although one or two seem more scary now than they did as a child. Lots of recognisable faces..see if you can spot Cassandra from 'Fools and Horses'!

Both series of Black Beauty were as high quality as children's TV ever got, but Series 2 is probably just the best of the two series. Beautifully filmed, superbly scripted, with an ideal cast and gorgeous locations, this is a must-buy. Includes the episode: 'Out of the Night' which has all the creepy atmosphere of a Hammer Horror (not at all unusual for this series) and quite a few scary jolts.

a nice series and lovely acting, nice location. even though it's nearly 30 years old it never grows old and is liked by children and adults, I like it and I enjoyed it and you can now see it, again on video and watch it over again and never get tired.
