Colour Name:Pink
This is SUPPOSED to be a Christmas present for our daughter who will be 2 1/2 at Christmas, but I suspect we'll be "just trying it out" at the weekend! The "pink" certainly isn't pastel, but it isn't quite Barbie pink.
The bike arrives flat-packed so requires self-assembly. In our case this meant 2 different sized alan keys and a dumbbell spanner and a screw driver to put the bell on......we ought to get our hands on a spoke spanner too (or chat up our local bike shop/cycling mates as one of the wheels is a bit crooked). We had to loosen the brake (which still rubs a bit - but that is probably no bad thing whilst our toddler is learning how to use the bike).
I think it probably took us about 15-20 minutes ot put the bike together - not least because we had to try to find some tools! - so I thought I'd warn anybody who had hoped to ride it "straight out of the box".
Well Amazon was 20% cheaper than our local bike shop - but I guess we would have bought the bike pre-checked and assembled.

Hi,i have just bought my grandson the zooom bicycle and he was on the go from the start.I was a bit unsure about a bike with no pedals, but even without stabilizers he was on the bike like a shot and within 1 hour he was walking the bike and then riding it a few hours later,very very good product and great for kiddies to learn to ride a lot quicker.

We bought one of these for our nephew's 2nd birthday in March, and although he is not quite tall enough to use it yet I think he'll be on it by the summer. He was certainly keen to try it out even if he had to be pushed round the garden! I've seen other kids on them, and it does teach them valuable balance skills which will transfer to a proper bike as they grow. Already planning to buy another one for my niece (but she's only a year old right now!)
With the saddle right down, minimum inside leg would need to be around 13".
It's a well made sturdy bike, but it needs putting together when you receive it which my husband was happy to do as he knows how to put bikes together, but if you are unsure or worried about safety then I would maybe recommend buying one assembled from a bike shop. So much better than the wooden balance bikes though, proper saddles, proper tyres and a brake and some cool colours.
Apparently the Adventure Zooom is exactly the same as the Ridgeback Scoot (certainly looks like it is) but is cheaper, especially on Amazon. Cost almost the same here for a new one as someone wanted for a second hand one on ebay!
