Another awesome volume that is on the same spirit as the best cartoon on TV at the moment. The first issue/chapter is a mind-bending "Choose Your Own Adventure Time" which will no doubt have older readers like me nostalgic. The main story is great too as it features my favourite character, and this volume's cover star, Marcline The Vampire Queen, joining up with Finn and Jake to help out the loveable BMO and save the Land of Ooo. The only downside is that it's going to be months before another volume will be available. Sure I could get the next paperback, or even collect the individual comics, but the volumes look so great, it's worth the wait!

Devoured by our 12 year old. He has dyslexia, so we're fans of anything that he enjoys reading.

It keeps getting better and better! 9 July 2013

I loved it, like so much you guys. This is great.

It starts out with a nifty little choose your own adventure comic, which is fun and funny and features a return of Adventure Tim. After that it moves into a rad story featuring Marceline helping Finn and Jake fight a computer virus. I adore it.

Ryan North continues to deliver with dialog so witty I have to read it twice to convince myself someone actually punished this stuff. I mean, humor this good has got to be illegal. The attention to continuity is good, and there are plenty of references to the show sprinkled throughout.

I love the art as well, lots of neat details and eye catching environments. I enjoy Marceline's outfits particularly.

Every night my kids can pick a book to read and to look at and since they got this book they want to look at and read this book and aren't interested in anything else. Great buy.
An instant favorite 26 Oct. 2014
By S. Mercier - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I loved choose your own adventure books as a kid, so when I saw that the first half of this volume was an Adventure Time "Choose Your Own Adventure", I knew I was going to really enjoy it. I liked that there was variety, but there were only a handful of paths so you could easily go back and read all the different possibilities.

The second half of the book was a BMO-centric story. With the help of Marceline, Finn and Jake rescue BMO and all his robot friends from Ewlbo and his big bad computer virus. Being a software engineer, I absolutely loved this. The computer jokes were spot on, and BMO is always my favorite character in the series. He was even more adorable in this volume given that the virus makes him talk like a 1950s gangster. Lumpy Space Princess even makes a cameo which is fitting and hilarious.

I always enjoy reading the Adventure Time graphic novels due to the fun art and the clever dialogue, but this volume is by far my favorite. If you like video game graphic novels like Scott Pilgrim or you love BMO from Adventure Time, you should go grab this third volume of the Adventure Time comics. It is an instant favorite.
Love 15 Jun. 2014

This is the last of The Adventure Time books that I own at this point in time. This was again a fun read and entertaining read. It is great for readers of any age. I loved the artwork in this instalment too. I loved that most of the drawings were pixelated to show that the characters were in a video game lol.
Great Fun 27 Aug. 2013

This collection had a great story (involving video games and glitches), as well as some great character appearances (LSP's "cameo story" was pretty fun, and it's always great to get more Marceline).
