If you have tried other Footprint books such as Footprint South America, then you know how good they can be. Unfortunately, the same reader focus or attention to detail has not been paid to this book.
The book is not organised in any logical way. Yes it is split into broad regions but that's about it. There is no map, not regionally or nationally to show what activity is based where or routes. The activities too have been inserted in a haphazard way with no logical order. For example, there will be a couple of pages on surfing, followed by biking, followed by walking, then surfing again, then walking then biking etc etc. No comparison, no maps and no order.
I live in the UK and still find this book unhelpful. If you fancy a book to pick out the occasional activity you can do on the odd weekend, then this is not it. Sorry, but this seriously damages the Footprint brand.
