This respected market leader is accessible, with relevant examples, illustrations, applications, tables, and figures to emphasize key concepts. The authors have thoroughly updated the art for this edition by adding several new figures and improving accuracy and clarity of the existing ones. Read this front to back before grad school 18 Mar 2010
By J. Katz - Published on Amazon.com

This book provides essential nutrition basics. It is easy to understand and you can lift it without back strain. I bought it while midway through my graduate courses in nutrition, though should have read it before and used it as a reference during.

great book 28 Jun 2010
By g.richardson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is thorough and does not make assumptions. It definitely states when a theory is a theory as opposed to fact. It is easy to understand and a great asset in continuing nutrition education. I do wish the book companion site was more interactive, but overall great book.
