The product, as described in the video, is an Advanced, and Professional looking case for the iPad 2.
There's lots to say, and most can be seen from the video, so I will just bullet point some of the main points I think about it:
- First thing I noticed about the case was how strong it was. I don't think it's real leather, but it definitely feels like it's going to last a long time. The stitching is great, and looks like it will hold together well through all sorts of usage.
- The inside is lined with suede, which means I won't be scratching my iPad2 if I ever need to take it out and put it back in. (not that I will - because once it's in the case, I don't think I'll ever need to take it out again).
- Around the case all of the switches and buttons are easily accessible. Even the charging port is easy to get to. The power switch is obviously available, but you won't really need to use it much because of the in-built sleep sensor >>
- The in-built sleep sensor, somewhere in the front of the case turns off the iPad2 when I close the case. It's awesome, and a single charge on the iPad2 lasted me 3 days with average use. All I did was close the case, and you can here the iPad2 click into sleep, and when you open it back up, the iPad2 is on and waiting to be used. Much better than having to manually turn it off all the time to save battery life, or waiting for the auto-off every 2 minutes.
- On the back of the case, there is a number of slots, and a stand that you can use to prop the iPad2 up into viewing angles or typing angles. I tend to use the case freestyle, but have found when you rest it on the table (like in the video) it's really sturdy. Oh and by not having to hold the iPad2 in one hand, I can use both hands to type with, and it's a lot easier, and makes typing really quick. It's like using a real keyboard at whatever angle you want.
- The cut-out on the back for the rear camera, initially looked quite deep, and I thought maybe the camera angle might get covered. But as it turned out, when I fired up the camera, it wasn't blocking any of the viewing angle. The front face time camera has a larger more aesthetically pleasing cut-out and design, which is really cool and doesn't block the camera lens either.
I'd give the case 5 out of 5 for it's quality and 5 out of 5 for it's versatility.
I would really recommend this case as well.
