A Collection of Information on the Internet 20 Feb 2006
By Tochukwu S. Onyeriri - Published on
Format: Hardcover
I bought this book with the intention of getting detailed information and analyses of cleaning products raw materials and formulations. I was very disappointed. The book is a collection of company formulations that one can pull from the internet.

The disheartening aspect of the book is that most of the formulations are riddled with company blends. This makes formularies useless once you go outside the stipulated blends. My advice is, becareful before you buy. You can pull most of the info on the internet. I will suggest you buy "How to Formulate & Compound Industrial Detergents" by David Urban. Its far better that Advanced Cleaning Product Formulations.

Fomulars are intersting, but they don't indicate for what quantity.

Just good 31 Aug 2009
By Hector Dorantes Hdz - Published on
Format: Hardcover
It's a useful support to formulate but this issue seems like a marketing message since the raw materials it's plenty associated to brands and not as a generic raw material several times. This, puts limits buying this raw materials even tough at the end of the print shows a guide with raw material generic names. Also, many formulations is like others in the book, just modifying a little quantity or only a similar component from the formulation, This is unuseful for a Chemist. In despite of the before mentioned. Is a great book since there's not a lot of that kind. Greetings from Mexico.
