Bryce is a program used to create stunning scenes and environments. Explaining how to use Bryce as a high-end, professional illustration tool in conjunction with other powerful programs including KPT, Photoshop and Poser, the text: shows how to use KTP 3, 5, and 6 for dramatic effects; teaches 3D scene composition and lighting in new ways; presents digital artists with new ways of illustrating stories; shows users how to create all types of environments and worlds from photorealistic to complete fantasy; and demonstrates the use of a variety of elemental effects for creating new worlds. The CD (Win and Mac) includes objects and scene material used to create the projects covered in the book. Animations from these projects are also included along with a variety of demo programs.

Yet another poor publication from River Media! I have 2 of their guides to Bryce (the other being Bryce 5 Handbook), which I've already reviewed as being pretty badly written. This is much the same with whole swathes of the Handbook being pasted into this book too. The projects are largely unimpressive and uninteresting with a lack-lustre approach I've come to expect from this publisher.

I'd recommend downloading user tutorials from internet sites, which are far more interesting and informative.

When you see River Media publications, see what else is on offer from other publishers before you shell out your money!

As I should have expcted from this author it is not well written, has dull and uninspiring projects and in the end tells you very little. Bryce is a fun programme and fairly easy to use. This book does not do it justice and is a waste of money.
