Product Description

•One pack of tiles contains 24 tiles which are sized 381mm (15in) by 381mm (15in).

•The tiles are wedge profile which offers a greater surface area over flat tiles which enables them to 'catch' sound waves more easily and effectively.

•One pack covers an area of 3.48 m2 (37.5 ft2).

•The acoustic tiles are available in dark grey only.

•The tiles have a peak thickness of 40mm and are 20mm at the base which makes them effective for reducing reverberations and echoes in the room.

•The foam has a density of 32kg/m3 and a hardness of 180 Newton.

•The NRC of the Wedge Standard Acoustic Tiles is 0.60.

•We only use professional grade open cell acoustic foam.

•We specialize and are dedicated in selling only acoustic foam products. You will not find us selling other products such as upholstery foam or packaging foam, foams which are not suitable for acoustic applications.

•All of our products meet the requirements of schedule 1, part 1 the Furniture and Furnishings (fire) (safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989). This Furniture and Furnishings is a more stringent test then the FMVSS302 which other companies advertise. The FMVSS302 is an automotive fire classification and products which only conform to this classification are not suitable for use in domestic or commercial applications.

•Our products are totally safe and suitable for use in both domestic and commercial applications.

Good value, but can you stick 'em straight on the painted wall NO!!! - But them up with velcro tabs (as I am in rented accommodation - can't damage walls) . stayed up for about 10 minutes !! - These velcro pads would stick a dog to the floor, but not acoustic tiles, tried heavy duty blu-tac, tons of prit-stick, double-sided tape but noting sticks to the foam. So they are now back in their delivery box. I cannot use the recommended adhesive spray as it will damage the walls and foam for when I move. Not sure what to do. But the tiles them selves look well made and arrived in perfect condition... looks like I'll have to make some panels :-(

I run Naim SBLs in my home HiFi. They are notorious for their sharp treble which is why I wanted to try these acoustic tiles. An enormous box of 30 tiles arrived, far more than I anticipated somehow.
I managed to stick them to my walls with nothing more than heavy duty Pritt stick, although this didn't work on one wall which must have been slightly damp.
The tiles certainly work, although I don't have any measuring equipment to do a proper frequency sweep on them. I would guesstimate very roughly at about 2KHz to 8KHz which was just what I needed for the SBLs. I tried them behind my head as well but this gave a peculiar sucked-out sound. I ended up with a bookcase there to act as a diffusor.
However, in the raw they are not domestically acceptable at all - they look awful. I found 2 ways to conceal them. I got a picture printed onto framed canvas and shoved them up the back. Also I got a couple of cheap blank artists canvases, nailed them together, stretched some very nice curtain material over them and put some more tiles up the back of that for another wall.
They are easy to work with as the foam is quite light and can easily be cut with a craft knife.
Compared to other acoustic tiles they are good value for money and do a good job.

I thought these would just be a cheaper way of getting a job done as I needed a lot of tiles for the walls of my studio. The ones I have been seeing prior to these were double the price for the same pack size. I decided what the hell and went for these as I am on a budget.I have bulleted my review below to make things clear:

- 1. I received them on a day of my choosing from a well priced courier service thanks to this supplier :)
- 2. They were well packed and easy to open without damaging
- 3. They look and feel like the more expensive ones, I cant tell the difference
- 4. They went up on the walls with no hassle with a simple spray solvent
- 5. I have only done half of the space I need to but so far the sound doesnt leak out from that side of the room now as it used to and it does sound clearer/cleaner when listening to music.
6. I would recommend these and am going back to the same supplier to fulfil my needs.

Obviously I cant comment on the products performance after long term usage (such as foam degredation and discolouring )but the early signs are very good for this product.

Medium density acoustic foam. Select for removing reflections for which it is very effective. Moderate sound absorption properties. very good value for the price paid and perfrectly suited for pod-casters and studio recording in a nicely muted room. this is a bare-bones pack with just the foam tiles - no adhesives or backing, but this is equally sold as a specialist application rather than an all in one starter kit. As long as you know what you are buying and why, you can expect to be satisfied. Very good value.

Bought for my dad to cover his music room and get rid of the egg cartons, some foam panels stick to the wall and some don't surprisingly but he seems to love them, my recommendation is to pin them to the wall with some thin nails or sewing pins

I put them on my wall in alternating orientations and they have had a positive effect. Sound now feels punchier and the room echoes less. I am very pleased with these tiles.....Product arrived on time and in good order.....I am planing on buying more in the very near future.
