This game received high praise in N Gamer but I was thinking how sophisticated can this game be ? - it's just a handheld game, no match for the likes of Command and Conquer. This game has a lot of features from Command and Conquer such as the ability for some units to carry other units and Fog of War. It gently guides you through the different aspects of the gameplay so you do not have to spend a long time reading the manual or trying to guess what is happening. Some aspects of Fog of War are not clear and the game falls down here slightly although an intelligent gamer will be able to learn the nuances through trial and error. Some missions are very frustrating but perseverance pays off. If you identify mistakes you made and don't repeat them the game will reward you. The story twists and turns and the game keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next. Each standard mission is accompanied with tactical advice if you want it. The music is excellent and using earphones is thoroughly recommended. The game has a few options so, for example, you can turn off the animations as these can become tiresome after repeated viewing. Warning - the final mission is mega hard.
