As a student doing a graphic design course, I needed a bit of help to get to grips with Illustrator. After searching for tutorials online, I came across this title from MediaRoots. I took the plunge, bought it and was instantly impressed! The instructor is clear and precise, letting you know what is to be achieved with each lesson and actually carrying it out to a great standard. Each lesson given varies in length so I wasn't bored with sitting through hours and hours simply to learn one thing. The detail of the tools within the program is fantastic and once again, delivered and explained very well. Starting from the very basics (introduction to the interface, explaining the tool palette), the tutorials take you through every step, right up to the more advanced techniques in Illustrator, smoothly and comprehensibly. If you want to learn Illustrator, I strongly recommend this title. It'll tell you everything you need to know, and you'll learn it fast!
