I have spent six months learning PS, DW and Flash, and bought this after reading its reviews.
This is promoted by friends. Most of the reviews are from friends. The quality of the language, its tone, quality of content's examples ate very boring and under standard.
Avoid buying this unless you want to waste your money and then your most valuable time.

I've always been interested in Flash animation (after watching copious amounts of it on the Internet) and decided to have a go myself. Having never used Flash before, I chose to buy a tutorial dvd, which is where I came across this title from Mediaroots. Mark Rogers presents this program in a great professional manner, but makes it feel personal to you. I enjoyed listening to him and never found him irritating (as can be heard in many training titles). His in-depth explanations to the program helped a great deal when it came to the exercises posed by him. I liked the end tutorials given, which are more like mini projects. It allows you to put what you've learnt into actual practice, and I found it very useful. It made me think of what I was doing, rather than being told simply what to do. The best thing about these training titles is that I got to learn at my own pace, so if I didn't fancy doing it one day, I wasn't obliged to! A great dvd for learning Flash, whether you're a total beginner or an advanced programmer.
