Until purchasing this I had been using Macromedia Studio MX 2004 so a comparison is likely to be quite unhelpful. You can download a trial from the Adobe website and for that reason this review will focus on other areas.
The box contains:
Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium (installation DVD)
Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro installer for Adobe Creative Suite 5 (installation DVD)
Content DVD (mainly just some extra fonts)
"You must accept the license agreement" type paper notice (license not printed)
CS Live paper advertisement
Installation Information paper notice
Order Fulfilment Instructions paper notice with coupon code
The 3 DVDs are contained in paper sleeves and the other papers included are of the same size, but the entire box is approx. 20x18x4cm (lots of empty space).
Also included is one year subscription to CS Live when registering Web Premium.
The installation information paper only contains a link to www.adobe.com/go/a9_installation and the order fulfilment instructions paper contains the eligibility conditions (same as given on Amazon), a "coupon code" and a link to www.adobe.com/go/eduverify
Order fulfilment was very quick. I created an account on the Adobe website, visited adobe.com/go/eduverify, filled out my personal details (name/address/establishment details/etc), entered my coupon code and uploaded a photograph of my student card into the online form. I received my serial numbers (Web Premium and Acrobat) within 15 minutes. They came as a pdf attachment to an email at about 4pm Friday (British Summer Time) and the serial numbers can also be accessed in my Adobe account.
The actual installation took me 30-40mins on my Dell XPS M1730 laptop.
Note: The product selection list on the order fulfilment form did not contain the Student and Teacher Edition so I selected "other" and wrote the exact version in the comments box.
