Although Adobe are limiting it's users by making it 64-bit only, this is actually the best move. Having both 64 and 32 bit architexture causes issues. there is no alternative to a solid 64-bit architecture. Adobe are actually one of the last lead software developers to embrace 64-bit architexture entirely. CS4 was a great crossover because on windows it was 64 bit on most applications but still had 32 bit versions. CS4 is to CS5 what Vista was to Windows 7. It is to help users transition. If you are buying a new computer and looking to use after effects, you should not even consider a 32-bit computer. You should also not even consider a machine with less than 4GB of RAM.
Support asside CS5 does lack new features. The new rotobrush tool is truley revolutionary, however this appears to be the ONLY feature woprth upgrading for. However if you are on a Mac or are still running CS4, then it is definately worth upgrading for the 64-bit architexture and huge amount of speed/resource improvements.
I give four stars for the solid application structure and FANTASTIC new rotobrush tool. However it does not feature enough new features for five stars. Could have done with a newer UI just for the hell of it ;)

This may be a very good piece of software, but as Adobe have removed 32-bit support many users will not be able to use it. Adobe should instead base it on graphics card, processor and RAM, or else make a stripped down 32 bit version.
