Ridiculously overpriced. Sure it does exactly what it describes, but for the price or a decent SECOND HAND CAR.
Are you joking Adobe? Most computers don't cost this much? Is there any justification, and reasoning as to why this software costs so much?
You realize there is no cost for production, distribution or components for this right? The only cost for software is development.
Google a torrent of it, don't buy.

This Acrobat product I thought was going to be run of the mill, but it is excellent.
It has a good visual interface and the Help icons get you through the basics and point you to the advanced stuff ... it take practise and I'm not a high end user.
The Menu bars are a bit sparse compared with version 8 which I upgraded from but it is a powerful tool and has a lot more automated features. All in all it has surpassed my expectations.

Having purchased & tried to use Acrobat 7 pro, I was, as an "older" user, a little unsure about repeating an altogether painful exercise.
Acrobat 7 was almost impossible to use, with constant demands that I validate the product (this; 3 years after I bought it!) and regular crashes during the conversion of anything other than Microsoft Office documents.
Having been using Acrobat X for a month now, I am relieved to be able to say that it is proving to be both reliable and easy to use.
The front page is clear (unlike Microsoft Office 2010) and the toolbars are easy to see and understand. The processes are clearly available, with Adobe not going down the route of making things complicated, just because they can.
I am very happy to continue to use Acrobat X in favour of the PDF Suite software I bought, just to get away from Acrobat 7.
