5.0 out of 5 stars A good, very precise (but long) book 1 May 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This book is essential if you are studying administrative law and don't have a book yet, although there are several other equally good administrative law textbooks, and if you have one of those it's not really necessary to get this as well. It is written in a slightly less stodgy style than your average law book, and although the result is that it sometimes skims a little over complex topics, it more than makes up for this by being easy to read and quickly understand. At the same time, it is extremely long (1000+ pages) and thus covers most topics comprehensively. It covers the new developments arising from the passing of the Human Rights Act 1998 very accurately.

If you only get one Admin Law book for your course, consider this one.

This book is huge! First time I saw it, I told my self:'no, you are not going to read everything in it'... Howeever I actually enjoy reading this book. It does not contain too much information, mostly basics and some additional info, which is perfectly relevant. I think it is excelent! Whenever I've got to do work for my admin course I am kind of thrilled to read that book. It is worth [] pounds.

Wow, I saw this size of this book and the subject matter and thought it would be terrible but I'd say its the best book on Administrative Law. It explains everything very well and illustrates arguments in a way which is easy to understand. It provides authority for every fact it uses which is great for witing your own essays and is extremely comprehensive. This is the book to buy from Admin Law
