This book is bad! 12 Feb 2003
By Jamo
Format:Hardcover
The book opens up by saying that it will help you pass the test, it then tells you that it does not give enough in depth information to help you pass the test.

I wasn't really sure what they meant by that as it seemed quite contradictory. However, having now read the book, I do understand. The book is full of contradictions, errors, and is appallingly laid out. The promise of 'following something up in a later chapter' is not fullfilled, and this phrase is used regularly. In some cases the step by step guides perform a completely different function to what the title of the step by step is, and in most cases when you are told to refer to a table, figure or diagram in the text, it is normally two or three pages away. The simulated exam on the CD will give you an incorrect score, as some of the questions have had their answers programmed incorrectly. And to top it all, the authors keep dropping annoyingly childish comments into the text.

If you read this book, it will only assist you in failing the test rather than passing it!

Poorly organized 9 Nov 2001
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
I found the book to be poorly organized. Acronyms were used before they were defined. Concepts were raised and not explained. Examples were incomplete. Simply said, there has got to be a better book to use to prepare for 70-224.
