I really did enjoy the first CD "ADIEMUS - Songs of Sanctuary" and so I went through the reviews of other ADIEMUS CDs on the Amazon sites and decided to chance it. What can I say? If you enjoyed the first ADIEMUS, you will most definitely like this one! Music that makes you happy. Two thumbs up! A CD that gets a permanent space in my CD changer ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing!! 6 April 2002

Format:Audio CD
It's so amazing to me re-discovering Karl Jenkins, that I knew only on Soft Machine keyboards,as composer arranger and producer in a so powerful and emotional project like this!! Soon as I bought this record, many people told me that"Adiemus"was the title of a famous tune,well-known also in Italy...and I bought also "Songs of sanctuary"...wonderful! I'm so happy hearing these enchanting harmonies .. at least a new, intellingent, fresh and innovative musical project! Thank you,Karl, also from Italy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Change of plan... 1 Nov 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I was surprised when I popped this CD into the player -- the music was much different to the first two albums. It sounded a bit more like tribal chanting, but it seemed strangely effective. After a few rounds, I was hooked and humming to the tune. Keep it up, KJ!

4.0 out of 5 stars Adiemus III - Dances of Time 8 Feb 2005
Format:Audio CD
Really good album keeping up with the rest of his works. An unusual collection of Dances in the Baroque vein. If anything it is a little disjointed in places and does not quite reach the heights of the other albums such as Adiemus 1 & 2 and Imagined Oceans but it was an attempt at combining elements of the Baroque with more modern writings. Enjoyable but as part of his overall collection.

2.0 out of 5 stars Regret purchasing. 20 Jan 2011
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Having looked at the other reviews for this CD I feel somewhat saddened that my review is different. This CD disappointed me against all of Karl's others. All the tracks to me were far too identical in sound, music and voice. I found myself using the FFwd button skipping most of the way through. Feel let down on this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!-a voice from China 10 Nov 2000

Format:Mini-Disc
I don't know why no one would like to say something about this album! If you like "Songs of..." and "Cantata Mundi", you will certainly enjoy this one! Karl Jenkins-in my opinion-is one of the best musician such as Michael Cretu and Eric Levi.I'm sure that he will do even more excellently in the future. You have to know it is not enough if we just listen to Eminen or N-Sync!By the way,"Adiemus IV" is on sale now. It is still perfect!
