This is the book written specifically for the OCR additional maths course. It's similar in style to the OCR/MEI texts used for AS and A level and is an excellent resource. If you're doing OCR additional maths and your school hasn't given you a copy of this book you should be asking why?
Additional maths is a big step from GCSE and something very few people should be attempting without support so don't expect this book to be all you need - you do need a proper maths teacher with the time to explain things to you to succeed.

This book is very important for the additional maths course (OCR). I had about two weeks to complete the course from start to finish which would not have been possible without the book.

It is important to mention that the book is more of a textbook that you may expect to use in a lesson rather than a revision guide. However, it contains all the information you'll need for the course as well as a HUGE number of questions for practice and makes it all very interesting.

good book 8 Mar 2012

This book has good content and clear structure. Sometimes not easy for self studying, because some steps are clear, but if I explain the basic to my students, they can follow the examples and explanations without problems. There are a lot of good questions. After every chapter there are really useful "Key points".Additional Mathematics for OCR
