5.0 out of 5 stars The best on the market 12 Aug 2011
I have had a Brabantia cover for ages now and reluctantly brought this one...................BUT.........it's brilliant and dare i say better than the Brabantia one.
The zipper is a little awkward to begin with as it goes from bottom to top (most are opposite way round) but it's a tough and durable fabric and with the change to the zipper there's no stress on the top of the cover (always splits) so should last much longer.
Definatley recommend to all my friends and family.

During August 2012: I purchased the Addis Rotary Clothes Airer Cover having done extensive research trying to find one that was not made of cheap plastic (like those that can be obtained in A*g*s and other similiar retailers) as my previous cover had disintegrated over a relatively short period of time due to the inclement / changeable weather and eventually ripped at the top proving useless.

The Addis cover more than adequately does the job. It is slightly garish in colour (bottle green with large leaves) so if you're looking for something to 'hide' the airer it certainly doesn't do that. But I quite like the fact it's not boring and adds a splash of colour to a winter garden. It's made of some kind of impregnated canvas which does repell the water and as the zip works from the bottom up (like a raincoat) to almost the top of the cover, it fits securely around the airer. The zip has a little hood at the top to stop the water rotting it.

My previous cover was far too long and trailed on the ground encouraging earwigs to climb aboard and sit on the bottom edge out of the rain! Hanging the washing out turned into a hunting game. Luckily this cover sits about 6-8 inches from the ground so nothing can climb up and give me a heart attack.

The cover is essentially made out of one long thin piece of fabric side seam stitched with a zip up the middle which means that the top is not a flat surface thereby encouraging rainwater to eat away at the fabric. The water has nowhere to linger and during this 'summer' it has seen more than enough rain to convince me it will survive far longer than my previous cheap plastic one.

Update: August 2013.....the cover is still garish albeit with some slight wear & pattern fade.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product 6 April 2012

Airer cover material seems sturdy, along with the zip, although I would have preferred the zip to run from top to bottom rather than bottom to top, as it is a bit fiddly bending over to fasten the zip. The advert did not give the size of drier that the cover should fit, so I did gamble when purchasing it, but it actually fits my drier well and as it is quite a large drier, I imagine the cover should fit most sizes. Can't comment on durability yet as it has only been in use for a month or so, but it seems promising.

This item looked great when new, but on mine the fabric faded in places, particular the top part and it also developed a hole at the top in the end. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Great
I love this cover, brightens the washing line. The quality is great, better than my old one which went rotten at the top. More expensive than some but does look and feel better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality and fit.
Seems really robust. Here's a tip though - initially it didn't seem to fit our Brabantia dryer as the cover was so tapered at the bottom. Read more

Smart looking cover, zip ensures good fit at the bottom of the rotary airer. Cost a bit more than the others, you get what you pay for.

The cover itself is fine and does the job. However, the zip keeps sticking. I should return it I suppose but can't be bothered taking it to the post office. Read more
