Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

There are so many mazes and puzzles out there that are soon condemned to a life on a shelf gathering dust, but not this one! Get set to be driven crazy with the AddictABall puzzle. The travel size AddictABall features 100 stages and will keep you amused or addicted for hours!. Starting at stage 1, make the ball follow the maze without dropping off the puzzle and follow the stages till you reach the end, it could take a while! Every little hand movement is greatly magnified with everything being on such a small and intricate scale.

Product Description

The ultimate 3D spherical labyrinth featuring 100 individual stages, the Addict A Ball is unlike any other puzzle and requires skill, brain power, hand-eye coordination, and a sprinkling of patience. But be warned... such are its powers of persuasion - pick up this puzzle and you won't want to put it down... The aim: To get the shiny ball through all the stages of the maze to the end. There are two main games: Try to get from the start to the end in one go without falling off the maze or getting so frustrated you throw it out of the window or bounce it off someone else's head (made out of a soft plastic just in case you do). Another game is to do a time trial with your friends to see who can do it all in the fastest time and get the maze record. The maze is numbered to guide you and keep track of where you get to (incredibly useful if you fall off and can't stand the idea of starting all over again).

5.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating? Yes - but lots of fun 25 Feb 2010
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I originally ordered the Addictaball for my teenage son as one of those silly pressies at Christmas, only to find out that the release date of this product was after the event. Never mind, when the package was finally delivered we were not disappointed. What an amazing product the Addictaball is; this 'toy' will have you going through a rollercoaster of emotions. You will loose literally hours and hours of time as you find your way around the 'assult course' starting at 1 and working your way round to 2, then 3 etc, one slip and you're back to 'square one'. Our family and friends are queueing up to get their hands on it. I will be ordering the large version for sure.

It certainly is a good name for a puzzle,it is also quite infuriating. It makes you think a lot about how you can beat the ball! The best thing about the ball is every age can play.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wish I had got the bigger one. 13 Nov 2011

This was definitely a good toy and definitely addictive! It was a very enjoyable game, after dropping this (quite a few times) it still worked perfectly. The only thing I regret about this item is how small it is. I wish i had bought the bigger one instead because when you get to a certain point it is hard to get any further, this is because it is not very clear and hard to see. I think the numbers and arrows were just a bit to small, if they stood out more then this would be the perfect toy. I hope this has helped.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great toy for all ages, including adults 17 July 2011
By Rebecca
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Having bought the large addictaball as a Christmas gift, we were eager to try the small one too. Although at first sight it looks very similar to the larger version, as some of the obstacles are in fact the same, there are also plenty of stages which are completely different, so both versions offer different challenges. Like the larger ball, the small addictaball is very frustrating and very addictive! Having played with both balls extensively, I would actually say that the smaller ball is the more difficult of the two. Don't be deceived by the the bright colours and chunky design, this is not just a toy for children - every adult I know who has tried it has had difficulty putting it down, and I still don't know anyone who's been able to complete it!

I bought one of these for a lunchtime games club for school and ended up having to get another one for myself.
It is absorbing and has just the right level of frustration to develop perseverance, without getting itself thrown on the floor! There are three starting points, so you don't have to go right back to the start if the ball falls off the track - not unless you are a perfectionist, that is!
Great fun.

1.0 out of 5 stars Design flaw 16 Mar 2011
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
The concept is great and did give me a few hours play but a knot in the plastic from the injection mold manufacturing process half way down the bridge in stage two makes it impossible to progress any further. Grrrr! Shame, very disappointed. Get what you pay for I suppose. Great concept though. Would be fantastic if it worked!

Addictaball is a six inch in diameter, 3D spherical maze game with 100 individual stages! It's all contained inside a plastic ball so you have to use your imagination to rotate it through some crazy angles to keep the damn ball on it's path!

The addictaball is nothing like other maze games I've ever came across. It requires a lot of skill, hand-eye coordination, and shed loads of patience! If you are the type. . .you will not want to put it down until you've completed it! The aim is to get the tiny ball bearing through all stages of the maze to the end. The sections are numbered to guide you and enable you to keep track of where you last failed! :)

It's ridiculous, but addictive! If nothing else you'll end up with very flexible wrists! :)
