I bought it for connecting may mini laptop without VGA to a 19inch monitor. It works well and I can work on the large sized monitor which helps me working faster. Good technology and the device looks well designed.
Cons is the cable is too short. It would be much better if with a longer cable, should not increase cost heavily.

Having just got a computer with the capability of using two display screens, I was eager to use this function. However, with only VGA port, I didn't want to shell out for a new monitor as well as a new monitor. I spotted this product on Amazon, and I decided to give it a go. The product arrived ahead of delivery schedule (I never expect this, but it is nice when it happens!)
Firstly, I ran the mini-CD on my computer and followed the on-screen information. When the installation was completed, I removed the mini-CD from my computer, and then re-started the computer. Once re-booted, I plugged in my second monitor and turned it on.
The product has worked without any problems ever since!

The converter kit worked perfectly and allows me to use my new Windows 7, i7 machine with one of my old monitors - which I sometimes need to do. So the product is excellent.
The price was excellent too - I had no hesitation in ordering at that price.
They said it would be quick delivery, and it actually arrived ahead of schedule.

Does NOT Work With Dell XPS 17

Excellent Product
