Possible pet miracle? 12 Aug 2010
By Dando83
Because there's so much conflicting information when it comes to pet behaviour and some products make wild claims, I felt a duty to share how DAP has worked for us.

Now, it's not possible for me to say that our consistent training wasn't starting to work anyway on our rescue Border Collie after two weeks. But, after having plugged in the DAP for a few hours, our dog was a lot more interested in his dog bed that's in the utility. He'd previously almost ignored that the bed should be a place of comfort for him.

On the night, when lights went out, his barking, whining, and door scratching also lasted 5-10 minutes rather than 90. We've also not had a single messing incident since...we're not on day 3 of the DAP device.

Not 10 minutes ago, dog was going a bit barmy over the leftover takeout pizza on our dining table. Now, put in the utility, he's completely quiet.

I am seriously considering getting a second device so he can spend more time in the living room, as he paces in there and has had a number of wee accidents.

I'll update as I make further notes on the dog's behaviour.

ONE WEEK ON

The DAP device still seems to be having a soothing effect on my dog. While there's a bark or two, and a minor amount of door scratching, he quickly settles into his dog bed in the utility.

This really works 2 Mar 2010
My dog has always been calm but at the age of 11 had started getting panicked if we left him for even short periods. Within a couple of days of plugging this in he is back to his old self again.

Last week I took delivery of our new Jack Russell pup, she was six weeks old, I also have a ten year old cross bitch and things were not working out as i had hoped. After spending the week listening to the pup yelp all night and the older dog bark, i was beginning to wonder what i had got myself into.
It was whilst i was at the vets getting the pup innoculated that i came across this product and decided to give it a go, and thank god i did. I plugged it in as soon as i returned home, when it came to bed time, i stuck to the same routine, let both dogs out for a wee and settled them on their seperate beds. I closed the door and went upstairs waiting for the noise to begin, but there was nothing, not a sound, so much so that when i awoke after a full nights sleep, i was a little worried, but i had no need to be, both dogs were fine and the older one was in a much better mood probably because she too had got a good nights sleep. I would encourage anyone who is in a similar situation to give this product a go, dont buy from the vet though, they charge almost double.:-)

Adaptil diffuser
I am quite dissapointed. No change in my dog at all. Still very hyper - perhaps it's just him. We have had dogs for 28 years now and never had one who barks as much as this one. Read more

PEACEFUL NIGHTS
Bought Adaptil for a 3year old dog rehomed by my daughter and son-in-law. Bed-time caused the dog a lot of stress and whining. Adaptil has sorted the problem!

It works
I was a bit sceptical of this item, it was suggested to me by my neighbour dog groomer after she heard my dog barking and sounding quite distressed after I left the house. Read more
