The use of an adapter ring, whatever the model, implies that the focusing and aperture must be set manually. There is no data transfer between the camera and the lens. The automatism of aperture priority is maintained. Just select the aperture manually and the camera will automatically choose the shutter speed for the correct exposure. Note: There are two types of rings in 42mm: M42 and T2. Both have the same diameter but a different thread (1mm on the M42 and 0.75 mm on T2)
This ring fits Canon 60D much better than the previous Celestron one did. If you're not sure which T-ring to buy get this one, safe in the knowledge it will fit.Published 4 months ago by L. Fish
