The item didn't work, but the vendor was happy to refund the purchase.
Be aware that this adaptor is only a simple physical connector and CANNOT convert an ANALOG VGA signal to a DIGITAL DVI signal. The adaptor will work with some DVI ports, but not on all DVI ports because some DVI ports are Digital Only.
There are 5 types of DVI these are;
DVI-I Single Link (I = Integrated)
DVI-I Dual Link (I = Integrated)
DVI-D Single Link (D = Digital Only)
DVI-D Dual Link (D = Digital Only)
DVI-A (A = Analog)
Apparently you can convert DVI-I and DVI-A to SVGA with this adaptor. However if it is DVI-D then it will only work with a digital signal. Often this is the case. Check carefully before purchasing.

An amazing piece of equipment!
I used it to plug a VGA monitor into a DVI socket!
Pros:
-Very sturdy
-Screws that keep it mounted are incredibly strong!
-Postage took only two days!
-Very Cheap
-Looks awesome lol
Cons:
-A bit bulky
-The adapters at both ends are quite big so you may need to give it a little push to get it on.
(That's just me being fussy)
-Overall it is a 5 star product and does what I wanted it to do.

Exactly what I needed

It didn't work but they were more than happy to replace it.
Didn't work but the firm we more than happy to replace it. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of returning it after borrowing the appropriate cable from a neighbour.
