This an album with more depth, feeling and truth than most albums you ever hear. Lyrically I think Adam is a match for his father, and musically not many artists manage to knit content so well with lyrical themes.
Like the late Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright, Adam's debut is confident, brilliantly defined and as mature as the albums most create on a fifth album release.
I've had this album over four years and still listen without any skipping of the tracks. The only problem is you are left wanting more, and nothing so far is forthcoming from Adam.

I've had this album for years and will get it out every so often. Each time it sounds new and fresh. Utterly love it. A lot of the songs are very angry and edgy, but there are also incredibly sweet, beautiful songs too. Give it a go, it's amasing!

Brilliantly seedy. Every single song has an amusing-disturbing take on relationships: "He's the kind of guy who will never ever let you down, until you least expect it." "Lipstick on his helmet". He's like a more melodic Marc Almond. And check out his Low Millions as well.
